MANITOWOC (AP) — Authorities say alcohol is believed to be a factor in a crash that left two people dead in Manitowoc County.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office says in a statement that it got the call around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, November 15th. A vehicle had gone off County Highway K, just west of Highway G, and hit a tree in the Town of Maple Grove.
The 21-year-old driver and 23-year-old passenger were trapped inside and died at the scene.
Their names were not immediately released.
